The city of Higashiyamato is located in the northern part of the Tama region of Tokyo.
Former North Tama County. A bed town of about 80,000 people, with Sayama Hills and Murayama reservoirs in the north. In the western part of the city, the Tama City Monorail line passes to the north and south, along the southern end of the Seibu Haijima line. The Ome road is in the south town which hits the entrance hall, and the new Ome Highway runs to the center of the city East and west.
