Yamatsuri town is located in the southernmost city of Fukushima prefecture.
It belongs to Higashi Shirakawa County. There is a Yamatsuri mountain in the center of the town, and the Kuji River flows to the north and south while Yamatsuri Mountain is turned around. The eight Yamizo at the West End belong to the Yamatsuri town only in the East Myogadani River basin in the mountain of the border which is Ibaraki Prefecture and the west in Tochigi Prefecture.
The east of the town is in the Abukuma mountains, and the town is mountainous and east-west, and along the Kuji River, Jr Water County line and Route 118 run.
