Kawagoe Town is a town located in the northern part of Mie Prefecture. It has the Kawagoe interchange of the Kawagoe Thermal power plant of Chubu Electric power and the Ise Bay Expressway.
In Mie Prefecture, next to Asahi Town adjacent, the area is small.
About half of the area of the Kawagoe town is reclamation ground of Ise Bay developed by Nitta Development when it was Kuwana clan territory in Edo period.
