Fujimi-Machi is a town in Suwa-gun in central Nagano prefecture. Located in the plateau of the 900-1400-metre altitude, flanked by the kasayama of the north end of the Suwa area, Yatsugatake and the Akaishi Mountains (Southern Alps), it borders Yamanashi Prefecture. There is a watershed of the Fuji Basin and the Tenryu River basin, and the Otonashigawa and the Stand River upstream of the Fujikawa are in the southeast direction, and the Miyagawa that pours in Lake Suwa flows in the northwest direction. Because of its high altitude, it is cool in summer and cold in winter.
