Population 4,874 million, area 15.38 km ² (July 1, 2007). A village is located in the Katsura River basin in a town of 600 metres between the foothills of the northern part of town and the foothills of the southern Shakushi. Located between Fujiyoshida City and Tsuru City, it is a path leading from Otsuki to Yoshida and is a hub of transportation that leads to the Kamakura Road.
