Ina Town is a town of about 44000 people in the Middle Eastern part of Saitama Prefecture. It is in the Kanto Plain, and the town area is not mountainous in all the plain. The Numakawa of Hara city flows through the east border of Ayase River and the west. There is the Ayase River Fault which is related to the median tectonic line.
The Tohoku Shinkansen is the southern part of the town, and the Joetsu Shinkansen is running along the middle and northern parts of the spine.
