The city of Kazo is located in the northeastern part of Saitama Prefecture. Saitama County, former Musashi country.
It belongs to Tokyo metropolitan area (Tokyo commuting area). In March 2010, the former Kazo city, Kitasaitama County, Kisai town, Otone Town, and Kitakawabe Town were newly merged and born.
The only municipality in Saitama Prefecture is the three prefectures of Kita Kanto, Gunma Prefecture, Tochigi Prefecture, and Ibaraki Prefecture. Koinobori is the largest production in Japan and is also the city of Kazo Udon. There is "Moo State Kazo musical Band" which draws the flow of Moo State musical band.
