Kuki City is a city located in the eastern part of Saitama Prefecture.
The population is ranked 12th in the prefecture after Sayama city. There are historical spots such as Washinomiya Shrine, Gongen Park, Iris Castle (ruins of the castle) and the Kurihashi Inn of Nikko Road. The Washinomiya area has Washinomiya sand dunes (inland sand dunes) formed by the old Tonegawa. Inland sand dunes are few in Japan country, but as of 2011, Washinomiya sand dunes are not specifically designated for conservation or historical sites.
