Minami Echizen Town is a town located in the central part of Fukui Prefecture. It is in the traffic hub which must pass when moving overland around the Hokuriku district in the same town as the Kansai District. The old three towns were in contact with each other, but before National Route 305 was opening in 2013, the Kono district was a substantial enclave without a roadway to contact the Nanjo-Imajo district on the side of the government office directly.
