Kitagata Town is a town in Gifu Prefecture. Located in the northern part of the Nobi Plain, southwest of Gifu Prefecture. The area is the smallest in Gifu Prefecture and has the highest population density.
It is the only town in Motosu County. The whole area is part of the Nobi plain and there is no mountain. In the town, the Tennozu River, Itonuki River and Hasegawa are flowing north and south.
