Gobo City is a city located in central Wakayama Prefecture. It is the core city of Kiaka and Hidaka area in Wakayama Prefecture.
It is also located on the Kumano ancient road. Located at the mouth of the Hidaka River, near the center of the coastline of Wakayama prefecture. The east side of the city also has the mountain range though the part which faces the Kii water is almost flat in a long topography in the north and south. Because of the influence of the Kuroshio, there is little rainfall in the winter and Frost falls through the year.
