Kinokawa City is located in the northern part of Wakayama Prefecture (Kikita), the west side of Iwout City and Wakayama City, the east side is Ito-gun Katsuragi-cho, the south side of Hainan City and Kimino town in Seaweed County. The northern side is located in Osaka Prefecture, with Kishiwada City, Kaizuka City, Izumisano City, and Sennan city.
However, there is currently no road to the city and Kinokawa city directly connected to Kaizuka.
