Immigration to around Chibu Village , Shimane
Chibu Mura is a village in Oki-gun, Shimane Prefecture. It is composed of uninhabited islands, such as Asashima, Shimadzu Island, and Ohhata Island in and around the island of the Oki Islands.
Since October 1, 2005, it has become the only village in the prefecture. In addition to a slightly flat ground in the central south of the island, steep mountains form the shore, forming a cliff. There is a liner route of the Oki Kisen which connects the northern part of the island to the Beppu port in front of the islands, the island of the Oki sightseeing which connects Ryoura port and the Saigo port after the island, and the seven port in Matsue and the border port of Tottori prefecture.
