Nishinoshima-Machi is a town in Oki-gun, Shimane Prefecture. Located on Nishinoshima Island in the Oki Islands. Area 56.05 square kilometers, population 3,161 people (as of May 1, 2012).
It is the second largest town in Oki-gun, next to Oki Island town. The island tends to be mountainous and has few arable land. The South shore is a calm sea surrounded by three islands before the island, and many harbor. The North Shore is a rough seas, but it is a good fishing ground.
