Kaminomikawa town is located in the southern part of Tochigi Prefecture and is a town belonging to Kawachi County.
Currently, it is the only municipality in Kawachi County. The upper Mikawa town is located in the northern part of the Kanto Plain, in the southern part of Tochigi prefecture, about 90km north from Tokyo. The town area consists of the flat and the river, and there is no mountain.
The northern part of the town is in Utsunomiya City, the eastern part is Moka City, the west and the south are in the Shimono city, and Tagawa flows to the north and south in the center of town, and Kinugawa flows to the city boundary with Moka.
