On March 28, 2005, Kitsuregawa-machi, Ujiie-cho, Shioya-gun, was born in a new merger. It is composed by the old Kitsuregawa town where the plain opened between the hill in the Naka River water System Arakawa, Uchikawa, and the river along the hilly area in the eastern part of the tone water basin Kinugawa, old Ujiie town which is the Paddy area, and the east side.
