Aga town is a town in Tokahara County, Niigata Prefecture. The origin of the street is from the Agano River which flows through the region. The central part of the town is a mountainous area where the Namikawa of the Agano River and its tributaries flows and is opened around the terraces on the coast. The area is 952.88 square kilometers and occupies about 6.8% of the area of Niigata Prefecture.
Its size is the third in the prefecture 30 municipalities after Murakami City and Joetsu City.
