Immigration to around Himeshima Village , Oita
Himejima Village is a village of one island Ovop which is an administrative area of the outlying Himejima in the northeast of Oita Prefecture. belongs to Higashikunisaki-gun.
Since March 31, 2005, it has become the only village in Oita Prefecture, and since March 31, 2006, it has become the only municipality belonging to Higashikunisaki-gun. The northwest of the island (north of Shiroyama) has an obsidian cliff in the Kannon-Zaki area. The obsidian in the open air state is very few in Japan country.
