Mashiki-town is a town in Kamimasseong-gun located in the central part of Kumamoto Prefecture. It is located slightly north of the center of Kumamoto Prefecture and is adjacent to the eastern part of Kumamoto City. From the east to the South, Shiroyama (480 meters), including Mt. Yamayama (405 meters), Mount Funano (308 meters) and Mt. Iida (431 meters) are in the Kyushu Mountains. The northern part of the field crops is known as the Masashiro Plateau (high Yuhara Plateau).
