Nishihara Village is a village in Kumamoto Prefecture.
Belongs to Aso County. It is located about 20km east from Kumamoto City and between Kumamoto metropolitan area and Aso Caldera (Nango Valley). Located at the West foot of the outer mountain of ASO, it is a lush village with many fields and forests.
The village Center is located in the western north near Kumamoto and Kumamoto airports, and the population tends to increased slightly. The easterly blowing from Mt. Aso is called "Matsu-Bori Wind".
