The JR Chuo Line runs from east to west in the center of Musashi-Koganei station which is located almost in the center in the city and the Koganei Road to the south. Most of the city is a residential area, and there are few companies in the bed town type. Koganei Park is known as a cherry blossom spot in the north, and the south is facing the natural forest around the cliff, as well as Musashino Park, Nogawa Park, and Tama Cemetery, and the surrounding area has a lot of greenery left.
