Ibaraki Town is a town located in East Ibaraki, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is located in the central part of Ibaraki Prefecture, south of Mito City, and belongs to the Kanto Plain. In the town east, there is a Hinuma swamp which enters 30 ranks nationwide as the size of the lake, and Hinuma Numakawa and Hinuma Marsh Maekawa flows toward the Hinuma Marsh in the center of the town.
There are no railways, but there are two interchange (Ibaraki-cho Nishi Interchange and Ibaraki Higashi Interchange) in the Northern Kanto Expressway.
